Cruise Line Showdown: Family vs. Adults (9 Lines Compared)
What are the differences between the cruise lines?
For families, how do you decide between Carnival versus MSC versus Royal Caribbean versus Norwegian versus Disney Cruises?
For adults, how do you decide between Princess versus Holland America versus Celebrity versus Virgin Voyages?
Let’s talk about it:
Carnival does a great job of offering a cruise at one of the lowest price points in the market with family friendly programming and great quick service options.
MSC is new to the North American market. They also are trying to have one of the lowest prices points, but their suite class is better than Carnival.
Royal Caribbean is creating huge ships that are a destination of their own with water slides, playgrounds, surf simulators, zip lines, and Broadway shows.
Norwegian has created an all inclusive experience with their More at Sea promotion.
Disney has the best supervised kids’ programming, immersive dining experiences, and shows.
For adults,
Princess has a wonderful live music program and great onboard activities.
Holland America has exotic itineraries, excellent service, and good dining.
Celebrity has a great modern vibe with an emphasis on food and beverage.
Virgin Voyages is truly adults only with the best included dining at sea.
What do you think? Which cruise is right for you?
