Our escorted tour through the National Parks started in Rapid City, South Dakota. I knew nothing about this small city. As I started to research it, there were so many places I wanted to visit that we added an extra night to our tour.

American culture and the pioneer days.

Walking through downtown Rapid City, you'll notice something
peculiar: life-sized bronze statues of U.S. Presidents on every corner. This is

project to honor the country's leaders. Each statue is uniquely crafted to

After all that exploring, you'll need to refuel. Luckily,
Rapid City has some great food and drink spots that cater to every palate.

Ramen, where you'll find authentic Japanese ramen in the heart of Rapid City.
The cozy atmosphere and rich, flavorful bowls of noodles make it a favorite
among locals and visitors alike.
Must-Try Dishes at Bokujo Ramen: The menu at Bokujo Ramen offers a variety of options, but
the Tonkotsu Ramen is a standout. With its creamy pork broth, tender chashu,
and perfectly cooked noodles, it's a bowl of pure comfort. They also have a ramen made with bison broth that is very good.
5. Woodland Republic Brewery: Good beer. Good vibes.
If you're a beer aficionado, then Woodland Republic Brewery
should be on your list. This local brewery is known for its innovative craft
beers, brewed with a passion for quality and a touch of South Dakota spirit. We loved their sours and pale ales.
6. Independent Ale House: A Haven for Beer Lovers
Another must-visit spot for beer enthusiasts is the
Independent Ale House. With an impressive selection of craft beers from around
the world, you can sample your way around South Dakota. The flat break pizzas are delicious.

hub for art and culture. Two places you definitely shouldn't miss are the
Prairie Edge Gallery and the Pawnseum.

Prairie Edge Gallery is a beautiful space dedicated to
