Margaritaville Resort Orlando is a great headquarters for a central Florida vacation. You are 20 - 30 minutes from all the major theme parks and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The resort has four restaurants:

Provisions -  It feels like super fancy gas station and a coffee shop had a baby.  You can buy breakfast sandwiches, packaged sandwiches, salads, desserts, pizza, soda, beer, wine and canned cocktails.
Euphoria -  This restaurant is upscale dining with small plates at the bar.  The sliders were very good. Live music is available in the evenings.
On Vacation - This is the casual restaurant with table service breakfast, lunch and dinner. A breakfast buffet is available for $21 buffet with standards: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, pancakes, bagels, and fruit
Salty Dog Bar and Grill - This pool grill offers standard grill fare that can be delivered to your lounge chair or you can eat at tables near the grill.
The resort has villas and hotel rooms. Additional construction will bring condos to the location.

The activities are a little limited at the resort. There's a volleyball net and some games. No slides or splash park.  This is definitely a resort if your kids love the pool. A supervised kids' club is available for ages 5 - 12. As of April 2019, the prices were $12 per hour, $30 for 3 hours or $50 for 8 hours. Teens 13 - 17 can get a pass to come and go for $10 per day.

This tour was filmed in April 2019. The water park is scheduled to open in August 2019.
