Mendenhall Glacier via Helicopter & Guided Walk- While
this excursion has no minimum age, previous travelers recommended children not
be younger than 5. Take a short 20 minute helicopter ride and land on the
glacier. Your guide will teach you about the glacier’s form, flow, and shape of
the landscape. Bring a cup or water bottle so you can retrieve and taste
glacier water. On your return trip enjoy the beauty of Alaska from high above.

Mendenhall Glacier Float Trip- The tour begins with views
of Mendenall Glacier from the Lake. Once you arrive at the shoreline you will
suit up with rain gear, life jackets and rubber boots. You will then board your
raft and a guide will take you on a float past hanging glaciers, towering peaks
and glacial topography all while navigating moderate rapids.

Tracy Arm Fjord & Glacier Explorer- Board a deluxe
catamaran that pulls alongside the cruise ship and takes them to see the
wonders of this 30-mile fjord. Also enjoy a close up view of Sawyer Glacier and

advance of sailing.
