Breathless Riviera Cancun Review 2017

I have to admit it. I was a little intimidated to visit this resort. I had heard about the topless foam parties and sexy vibe. Not my typical Friday night. Then I stayed for three days.

Honestly? This resort knocked my socks off, but not my top. Don't worry, Mom.

The resort has three sections: Xcelerate, Allure and Xhale.

Xhale Section

Xcelerate is the party section.  Women can be topless. A huge hot tub hosts afternoon champagne parties. Go go dancers dance around the DJ booth at the Swim Up - also the site of the afternoon foam parties.

Allure is the middle section. These are the entry level rooms and the location of the restaurants and main bars. Music blares at this pool as well. 

Xhale is the Club section with additional amenities like a concierge lounge, private restaurant, private pool and beach area. This area is quiet. 

One challenge with adults only resorts is finding a resort with an active nightlife. The great thing about this resort is that you can spend your days in quiet, upscale atmosphere of the Xhale Club and then dip into the party at night. The shows were fun. The main bar has flair bartenders. The nightclub was hopping.

The beach is not great here. If a beach is your #1 priority - then this is not a good choice. If you love spending the days at the pool and your nights with your new friends - then this is a great choice.
