Disney's Wilderness Lodge a deluxe resort close to Magic
Kingdom with multi- bedroom villas, hotel rooms, and rooms with bunk beds.
The Wilderness Lodge property has three main parts: the
Lodge, Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek villas. All of these areas have been under
construction.
The Lodge - Roaring
Fork, one of the quick service restaurants, is closed. The pool bar is closed
and fenced off. A wing of the Lodge is being “re-imagined” into villas for the
Copper Creek Villas
Boulder Ridge Villas – The pool should be re-opening soon.
Copper Creek Villas – This has two parts: the bungalows down
by the water and the wing of the Lodge. The bungalows look almost complete. The
wing of the lodge has a few more weeks.
Dining – The resort has a signature restaurant: Artist
Point with cuisine from the Pacific Northwest. Since it is signature dining, it uses 2 table service credits from the Disney Dining Plan. Outside Artist Point is Territory Lounge. This lounge currently offers breakfast in the morning since Roaring
Forks is closed. In the evening, the lounge offers bar food with a couple items from the Artist
Pointe menu available.
Geyser Point is the new quick service option and it is
great! It’s my new favorite bar at
Disney World. You can sit at the bar and get a great view of the water. Try the Bison Burger and
brisket/cheese dip. For breakfast, the eggs benedict and the oatmeal are
great choices. It’s also a Quick Service
location so you can order at the counter and refill your Dining Plan mug.
Have you stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge? What did you think?
As always, if you want to take advantage of my free Disney planning service, email me or set up a time to chat. My commission is already built into the price so you'll pay the same if you try to do it yourself and book through Disney or book with me. Since you are already paying for my services, why not use them?
