2014 at Universal Studios

I spend a lot of time writing about and booking Disney vacations, but I don't want to leave Universal Studios out of the fun. 2014 is going to have a lot of fun changes to these Parks.

The biggest change is the opening of Diagon Alley in Summer 2014. It will offer three new experiences: Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, the Hogwarts Express - connecting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to Diagon Alley and Olivanders Makers of Fine Wands since 392 BC. The Cabana Bay Resort is also opening in early 2014. This resort will feature larger rooms. Standard rooms will sleep up to four and family suites with a kitchenette will sleep six. The resort will have two large swimming pools with a lazy river and a water slide plus a bowling alley!

For all of you crazy about the Minions, the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel has introduced Despicable Me themed kids suites! These suites feature a kid's room within an adult room.
