Here's what she thought:
We loooooved the resort. Super loved it. We were told it was smaller than others around it but we thought it was the perfect size. The buildings each have about 6 rooms a piece making them feel like small cabanas. They all have patios or balconies (at least the ones we saw) and ours led straight out to the pool and beach.
This is the photo she posted on Facebook of the view from her room. |
We never had an issue finding chairs or a beach bed to lay on although there always seemed to be a decent amount of people milling about.
There was an apple rep on site to help us book things we wanted to do. Since we were there such a short time, we just booked a van (through the apple rep) to take us to playa del Carmen on Friday night. The salesguys in playa were pretty intense, so my advice would be to just be on alert there.
We brought sunscreen but forgot aloe. We were in the pool drinking one day and lost track of time, sooooo...we had to buy some aloe (for the low price of $20).
The food was pretty good, there was always something available. The French restaurant on site was our favorite. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We did have a small ant problem buuuttttt...we were steps from the sand and talking to others, we were the only ones who saw bugs of any kind. The staff responded well and came out to work on it.
We loved it so much and would go back to this resort if available in the future. Thanks soooooo much, Angie!!
