There's an App for That: Walt Disney World

Several applications that you can download to your smart phone can enhance your Disney Experience:

My Disney Experience - This is a new App from Disney available for Apple products and Android. It will be linked to the new MyMagic bands that will eventually replace those paper tickets and allow you to pre-reserve Fast Passes. I spent some time on it over the weekend.  I like that you can store all your reservations and "plan" your day including parades and dining reservations. I also find it less clunky than the Disney websites. However, it still has some glitches. I had to uninstall and install 3 times to get it to work properly. I suspect over time it will become more reliable. This App can replace most of the Apps below and it is free.

Other highly recommended applications are:
-          WDW Countdown by PLR ConceptsThis application is a fun countdown to your Disney vacation. It costs 99 cents.

-       Disney World Wait Times by Versa Edge : Tells you the wait times at the rides to help plan your trip. It costs 99 cents.

-          Disney World Park Hours by Versa Edge: Provides park hours including extra magic hours. It’s free.

-          Disney World Dining by Versa Edge: Complete menus and locations for all Disney restaurants. Allows you to search by food type or restaurant name. It costs $1.99.
