I love a good “Best of” list. Smart phones, iPads, and iPods can be a great resource when travelling. Below are links to some of the “Best of” lists on the web.

- Google Translate: Both written and oral communications can be translated
- Currency Converter : A simple interface to help with those tricky currency conversions

This article from Inc. turned me out to a great app: Award Wallet – an app for tracking all those frequent flyer accounts:
Best Travel Apps for Kids from Conde Nast. I’m disappointed they didn’t highlight more free options, but the map applications look really interesting.
Recommendations for iPad Apps including Hg2 - I just downloaded it for some upcoming International travel.
